How do I request a specific tutorial video? You can request to have us make a tutorial video by posting in our website design forum, submitting a form, or sending an email to admin@FeminineDivinity.net. What games do you play? Currently Feminine Divinity is only located in PlanetSide but we have no problems with trying out new games and possibly expanding. Our members may also play other games with different outfits or guilds. What does "Withheld by request" mean? Withheld by request means the member has requested the information withheld not be made public. What does "Withheld by Administration" mean? Withheld by Admin means the information is blocked to protect the member in which the context is in question of. Aside from "Withheld by request" content may at our sole discretion, be withheld if we believe the release of such content may be harmful to any of our members, such as a minor child. For example, the email address of a minor member will automatically be withheld by the administration team regardless if the member wants it displayed or not. Additionally, requests for personal information on members such as, but not limited to telephone numbers, addresses, current or past schools attended, or any other information we deem to be of a personal nature will all be automatically "Withheld by Administration".
Who is the webmaster of this website? The administration of FeminineDivinity.net is Jennifer, Amy, and Isabel. The email address admin@FeminineDivinity.net can be accessed by all of them. The actual webmaster however is Isabel. How did you create this website? This website was created using DreamWeaver CS4, HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP, and some Flash. If you would like to create your own website there is a very good HTML tutorial at Dave's Site. Additionally you can check out this very good Javascript tutorial. Our number one pick for website creation tutorials is, thesitewizard.com. It has user friendly tutorials for just about anything you'd need including multiple DreamWeaver versions and even free 'form generators'. Do you accept link exchanges? Feminine Divinity does not accept link exchanges. If you submit a request for one you will be responded with a declination as well as a link to this great article about why your link exchange request failed. We do however accept link requests. Links exchanges are "trading" of links where the agreement is a petty and childish "hey if you link to me then I'll link to you" exchange. A Link request is one party asking the other for a link. The difference is "exchange" or "trading". Read the above article for more details. Link requests are granted dependant on the content and subject manner you have to offer on your own website, regardless if you link to us or not. If you would like to request a link please contact us. How do I get my name capitalized? Unfortunately, proboards has their system setup to auto lowercase all forum handles. However, you can make it capitalized yourself. To do so, login to the forums and go to your profile. On the top of your profile page you should see a "Modify Profile" link. Click that then search for the display name field. Type in your name the way it want it shown. You can capitalize it to your hearts content. Save the changes and that should work. When you have decided what picture you wish to use as an avatar, you will need to upload it to an image host website. Such image hosts are ImageShack and PhotoBucket. After your picture is uploaded go into your profile (on our forums) and select the "Modify Profile" link in the top of that page. Scroll down the page until you find the Avatar section and Copy and Paste the URL you were given from your image host to the field. Specify the size of the image you want (No more than 100x100 is allowed) and save the changes. Now your Avatar should be loaded and functioning correctly. If for any reason you still have trouble with this contact us and we can do it for you. How do I insert an Image into my signature? Follow the same steps as listed above in, "How do I insert my Avatar?" but instead of placing the URL in the avatar field continue scrolling down until you find the signature block. Once you do, use the code to insert your signature image. For example, if your picture was named "JaneDoe.jpg" and we hosted it here on our site, your signature block should look like this: . Please note we do not have a size limit for your signatures but anything too big that causes horizontal scrolling or too big by our judgment will be removed. Please ensure the size of your image isn't going to cause an annoyance and be respectful that you may have a big monitor screen, but others may not. How many members are in your outfit? There are four members (not including Nicole). Who is the outfit leader? JenniAngelx is technically the outfit leader, however Isabel has access to Jennifer's account and can freely use it effectively creating two outfit leaders. Is your outfit active? Our outfit is currently 'casual' which is not typically an active outfit. Although some members may play more than others, we don't yet have enough members to constitute an active outfit. We would like to expand and hopefully change this one day. Do you allow men into your outfit? Not typically. There has been some exceptions such as the boyfriend or husband of an outfit member but currently there are no male members in our outfit. Will you help train a new player that isn't actually going to join your outfit? Can I join the outfit if I'm a brand new player? Of course! We have no skill level requirement. We only ask that you try your best, are respectful, and work with us. We have no problems helping to train new players both male or female. Can I join the outfit if I don't yet have a microphone? With your promise that you will get one, we'll allow you into the outfit on a one month grace period. After one month if you have not yet met all of our requirements as stated in our join us page you will be asked to leave the outfit. You should know that members in this grace period are not awarded any of the benefits offered in our join us page. Is there an age limit to joining the outfit? There is no age limit to joining our outfit however we do require a high level of maturity. Additionally, members under the age of 16 will not be allowed to upload photos to their profile page and information regarding such members may be "Withheld by Administration". This is in effort to help protect them and is in no way meant to demean or ridicule them. I'd like to join the outfit, but I also play a lot with other friends I've met over the years. Can I still join and play with them? How can you ensure the event won't be ruined by idiots? Keeping hotspots to a minimum is essential for this. Hotspots effect what people see on their map as well as Instant Action. While we cannot completely disable hotspots there is one thing we all can do to minimize them. Don't shoot! How can you compensate for all of the different time zones players may be in? The truth is we can't. We're only a couple of people and we all happen to live in the same time zone. That means when it's 3 in the morning for one of us, it's 3 in the morning for all of us. We simply can't be around 24/7. We will try to include everyone we possibly could in the events but we're only human. What happens when players don't log in for their matches? Matches must be played within a week after they are needed. For example, Game 1 of the tournament must be played within the week of tournament start. Game 2 of the tournament must be played within a week after Game 1 finished, Game 3 must be played within a week after Game 2 finished, and so on. We completely understand life is more important and sometimes things just happen but we also expect you to understand we can't delay a tournament two months waiting on one match. In the event the week time period is exceeded the inactive player will be 'Inactive Forfeit' by Feminine Divinity and a reserve will take their place if the match is within the 'First Set' range. If a player for example, wins their first match and moves forward on the bracket and then goes inactive, a reserve will not take their place. Forfeitures thereafter will simply advance the opposing player. We know that's unfair but so is allowing a new player to potentially win the event without even starting at the beginning. Either way it's going to be unfair, we can only do the best we can. Note: We will wait up to two weeks for a final match (Championship game) before forfeiting anyone. Where will the tournament take place? Tournaments are held in different locations based on the tournament itself. Please see each tournament's information page for further details. How can you accomdate for modules and players having 120 health? A simple but extreme method will be used prior to all matches. Ready? We're going to kill you. Yes I said it. We kill you once prior to match start and you respawn at the AMS we provided, or the base if it belongs to your empire. This resets all health status back to 100. You may not have 120 health at all, killing you is a way to be sure. What is an Event Administrator (EA)? An EA is the person or persons moderating and running the tournament. All participants are required to follow the instructions of the EA. Typically the EA is the Feminine Divinity member(s) running the tournament or event at the time. What are reserves? Reserves are players/teams that signed up for a tournament but weren't able to be included because the bracket was uneven. This means that the very final game before deciding a 'Champion' or 'KING' would include three players/teams instead of two. In general, an even bracket starts at the number 2. You then take that number and times it by 2 to get the next even bracket. So for example two players creates an even bracket. Don't worry if this seems confusing, Feminine Divinity will handle the minor details and keep everyone informed. We want an even bracket probably more so than everyone else. What are spectators? Spectators are observers. Other people (they can be other players or teams as well as reserve players) that are in the area only for observation purposes. They are there to watch and nothing else. Spectators may be invited to the match by players/teams participating in that match. So for example you can invite your outfit buddies to come cheer you on. We have no problem with observers watching the tournament unfold but we do ask that spectators follow the below rules. Spectators may not interfere with the match in any way. How do I claim my Tournament Reward? If the tournament you signed up for has a reward, and you have won this reward, we will give you a four digit security code in-game. After that we will contact you through secure email from the admin@FeminineDivinity.net address with that security code in the subject line. The reason for the security code is so you can ensure some hack program didn't send you the request email with a spoof off of our website. If you see a request, even from us, without any security code, DO NOT reply. We will need a valid mailing address from you in order to mail off your reward. We understand any and all concerns giving out such personal information so by no means should you feel obligated or pressured to do so. Just understand we cannot send you a reward without one. See our privacy info about personal information. All about sponsoring our tournament If you, your website, your company, your outfit, your whatever, would like to sponsor our tournament you will need to provide some sort of reward to the winner of that tournament. We will then host the tournament as normal with your personal logo and web address on the tournament page, in our videos of that tournament, and during our tournament updates and notifications. Think of your sponsorship as an ad placed on our site and videos where that tournament applies. To request sponsorship, you must contact our administration. By sponsoring our tournament you are agreeing to submitting the end reward to the player or team that wins. Everyone will know you are the sponsor and if you do not come through at the end with the reward, everyone will know that as well. While we accept anyone as a sponsor, your credibility is on the line if you intend to not actually reward the winner. | ||
