Common Pool Vehicles

Common Pool Vehicles are accessible by all empires. There is no changes in the functions of these vehicles or how they work. The only change the vehicle will acquire is the color change to match whichever empire the driver of the vehicle is from.

Advanced Mobile Station
PlanetSide Vehicle- AMSVehicle Type: Support
Weapons: N/A
Armor : 3,000
Seats: 1 Driver
Certification: Ground Support

The Advanced Mobile Station (AMS) is a forward supportive vehicle that allows the driver to deploy the truck near enemy lines. Deploying the vehicle makes it immobile however it allows friendly troops to respawn at the AMS when they die or deconstruct their matrix at a respawn tube.

PlanetSide Vehicle- AMS Cloak FieldIn the deployed state, the vehicle creates a cloaking bubble around itself to protect it from visual detection. Enemies will not be able to see the AMS in its deployed state without some form of aid such as the Dark Light implant (for more on implants see our "Implantations; Enhancing the Soldier" section) or by actually walking into the cloaking bubble.

Feminine Divinity recommends that you also use the Sensor Disruptor function from the Adaptive Construction Engine (ACE) which will further aid in concealing the AMS from detection. For more information regarding the Sensor Disruptor please view our "Support Equipment and Items" section.

Advanced Nanite Transport
PlanetSide Vehicle- ANTVehicle Type: Support
Weapons: N/A
Armor : 2,000
Seats: 1 Driver
Certification: Any Vehicle Certification

The Advanced Nanite Transport referred to as an ANT for short, is used to collect energy which in turn is used to refill base NTU silo.

Sound confusing? How it works is the driver will have to take the ANT to a Warpgate. Any kind of warpgate works including a Geowarp from the caves or a sanctuary gate. When the ANT enters the Warpgate the driver will need to deploy the vehicle.

PlanetSide Vehicle- ANT Warpgate Collecting NTUIn this deployed state the ANT becomes immobile and begins collecting energy from the Warpgate. A small bar is displayed at the bottom center of the screen that reads, "NTU". As energy is collected from the warpgate the NTU bar fills up. Once the ANT fills to capacity, it will automatically undeploy. The operation can be stopped at anytime by simply undeploying the ANT the same way it was deployed as it does not require a FULL ANT to refuel a base. Typically, a full ANT can fill one and a half bases dependant on how low the bases are.

When full or filled to your liking, drive the ANT to the base you wish to fill and search for the NTU Silo.

PlanetSide Vehicle- ANT Refilling a BaseThe NTU silo pictured to the left allows the ANT to deploy again however this time the energy gathered from the warpgate to the ANT now transfers from the ANT to the Base's Silo essentially refueling the base. For information regarding bases please view our section.

Router
PlanetSide Vehicle- RouterVehicle Type: Support
Weapons: N/A
Armor : 4,000
Seats: 1 Driver
Certification: Ground Support; Also requires the Core Combat expansion or Aftershock package deal

The Router is a support vehicle which is used to teleport troops from one location to another.

PlanetSide Vehicle- Depolyed Router ImageThe Router works by being deployed by its driver. Like all vehicles in their deployed state this will make the Router immobile. Drive the router to a preferred location and deploy it. This location will become one of the spots players may teleport from so it's advised to place this in a hidden spot. The driver will need to get out of the vehicle and receive a telepad accessible by the vehicle itself.

PlanetSide Image- TelePadCarry to TelePad to another preferred location and release it by using the fire button while the pad is equipped.

Active TelePad ImageAn active Telepad will allow players to teleport from the Router itself to the location of the Telepad or vice versa. There are several things to know about this vehicle in order to use it properly.

Enemies as well as friendlies may cross the router and/or the router pad. Caution is advised where you place the pad or the Router itself. You could essentially give the enemy a backdoor into your defenses if used inappropriately.

The TelePad when released takes a full minute to activate and allow players to cross between the Pad and the Router itself.

The Distance between the Router and the Telepad may not exceed 300 meters.

There is a glitch within the game that can allow players deploying the Telepad to place it within walls or in ceilings which prevents it from being destroyed and at times allows anyone that uses it to teleport into walls. The Feminine Divinity outfit does not support this and requires any of her members to never perform such an act. This is considered an exploit and will result in removal from the outfit without question. If you're in our outfit, don't do it. Period.

Feminine Divinity would like to suggest you consider using the Router in conjunction with an AMS and a Sensor Disruptor.

Armor : 1,500
Seats: 1 Driver

PlanetSide Vehicle - FlailVehicle Type: Advanced Tech Artillery Unit
Weapons: Dispersion Cannon
Armor : 2,400
Seats: 1 Driver
Certification: Flail; Also requires the Core Combat expansion or Aftershock package; Additionally requires a cavern link or Vehicle Module.

The Flail fires energetic artillery rounds that have a large area of impact and can be fired from miles upon miles away. This is the first and only vehicle that makes use of an additional soldier using the Laze Pointer item to help the Flail target enemies it cannot actually see. To learn more about the Laze Pointer please visit our "Support Items" section.

PlanetSide Vehcile - Deployed FlailThe Flail must be deployed in order to fire its weapon making this vehicle vulnerable because it cannot move and shoot at the same time. Additionally, it has a wide arc which cannot be fired against a target within 250m of it making it vulnerable against close targets.

Note: The minimum range of 250m alters dependant on the surface level of the ground that both the Flail and target are on. In some cases you may not be able to hit anything within 300m while in others you may. To negate the effects of this vehicles high arc fire, utilize hills and mountainous terrain to your advantage.

Liberator
PlanetSide Vehicle- LiberatorVehicle Type: Bomber
Weapons: 35mm Frontal Gun, Cluster Bombs, Anti-Armor Bombs, 25mm Rear Gun
Armor : 2,500
Seats: 1 Pilot, 1xBomber, 1xTailgunner
Certification: Air Support

The Liberator is PlanetSide's first bomber aircraft. Suppression of enemy lines and bases are offered no better than a squad of these things taking to flight and raining down on the enemy. While the Bomber can deliver massive attack spread throughout the battle field this is the only vehicle (along with the Vulture) that requires full support from the Driver as well.

The driver must align the Liberator parallel to sea level in order for the Bomber to be able to drop his bombs. This requires coordination and effort between the bomber and driver as the bomber can also only attack targets the pilot positions the Liberator over.

Bomb Enabled ImageWhen the Liberator is not aligned to sea-level (as straight as you can get) the pilot and bomber will have an image of a bomb with a red circle with a line across it. This means that bombs cannot be fired at the current position of the aircraft.

Bomb Enabled ImageWhen the Liberator is aligned, the image mentioned above will not have a red circle with a line crossing through it. This indicates the Liberator is in the right position for bombs to be deployed.

The tailgunner is used as a defensive measure against incoming enemy aircraft as you will most certainly become a priority target in one of these.

The Liberator takes some getting used to in regards to bombing and piloting but once you get accustomed to the mechanics this aircraft becomes one of the most deadly in the game.

Vulture
PlanetSide Vehicle - VultureVehicle Type: Bomber
Weapons: 35mm Armor-Piercing gatling cannon, Anti-Armor Bombs, 25mm rear suppression rotary chaingun
Armor : 2,500 (Assumed)
Seats: 1xPilot, 1xBomber, 1xTailgunner
Certification: Air Support; Also requires the Bomber Ace Bronze award from Liberator usage

The Vulture shares the same aspects as the Liberator so please read about the Liberator first. The only difference between this aircraft and the Liberator is that the Vulture is more specific on armor destruction. The nose gun has been adjusted to rapid fire 75 rounds, the bombardier gunner can only drop anti-armor bombs, and the Vulture itself has been outfitted with afterburners.

These changes are to create a bomber specifically deadly to enemy armor columns and then allow for the Vulture to escape the battle quickly. Strike low and fast. This Vulture is the ultimate armor terrorization unit.

Lodestar
PlanetSide Vehicle- LodestarVehicle Type: Transport / Support
Weapons: N/A
Armor : 5,000
Seats: 1 Driver, 1xVehicle Bay
Certification: Air Support

The Lodestar or Lode as it's referred to in the game is a massive aircraft capable of transporting one ground vehicle of any size via its huge cargo bed.

As an addition, the Lodestar also provides a supportive role in that it is a mobile armor repair station for vehicles and aircraft alike. All the Lodestar has to do is land and stay stationary. In this state, any friendly vehicles or aircraft that approach the sides of the Lode will slowly regain lost armor. The driver or pilot of those vehicles may also use this massive aircraft to replenish any lost ammunition for his or her respective vehicle.

The pilot does not have to be inside the Lode in order for the massive aircraft to take on its supportive role.

The importance of this aircraft is often overlooked but its support is undeniable and greatly appreciated by all.
